Welcome back for another Feature Friday post.  This week the other guest designers and I are on the Concord and 9th Blog sharing our take on the new Painted Rose stamp set and the Painted Rose Die.  It's a gorgeous multi-step stamped large rose and sentiments in a delicate script font.  The die set includes the coordinating rose die as well as this 'thinking of you' die.

I stamped the rose in an all-over pattern using some bright inks on a white cardstock panel.  I used a vellum overlay to soften the background a bit and accented the front with another rose that was cut out using the Painted Rose Die.  I added the die cut 'thinking of you' on top as well.

For this second design I die cut a white cardstock panel using the new Confetti Card Die  and then stamped the 'thanks' in a repeated pattern.  I stamped and die cut another Painted Rose and adhered it to the front.  To go along with the 'thanks' sentiment I added the die cut 'thank you' from the Bitty Thank You Die.

Hey Guys! I am so excited to be guest designing for Concord and 9th this month. Today, and for the next three Fridays, I will have a special post featuring the new products from the CC9 April Release!
Today the other guest designers and I are highlighting two new products: Bitty Burst Turnabout stamp set and Bitty Thank You dies.  These are two products that are Customer Appreciation awards when you spend certain amounts in the Concord and 9th shop.  You can find all of the details HERE.

The Concord and 9th turnabout stamp sets are really unique in that you can rotate the stamp several times, stamping the image each time to create a really fun, layered image!  The stamp sets come with a guide for perfectly lining up your stamps as you turn them.  They even have how-to videos showing you just how to use the guide.

I rotated and stamped the Bitty Burst Turnabout stamp four times using Fairy Dust, Lake House, Nautical Navy and Black ink.  For the sentiment I used the new Bitty Thank You die along with the little 'friend' stamp from one of my favorite previously released stamp sets called Flourish.

I adhered several die cut 'thank you's together to create a nice sturdy sentiment that also added a bit of dimension.
Thanks so much for visiting! Stop by and see what the other guests have created,  Niki Bee and Micaela Ferraro.  See you next Friday with more Concord and 9th!

Background Lilies

The newest WPlus9 release has been amazing.  I have loved everything including this large background stamp that is part of the He Is Risen stamp set.  There are so many possibilities for this stamp.  I'm sure can imagine!  But even without any fancy techniques this stamp is a showstopper.  It makes this card design.  Everything else just accents it.
I stamped it in Queen Bee ink and then stamped the large kindness sentiment from No One Else on top in black ink.  I die cut the word 'kindness' from the coordinating die set in black and layered the letters over the stamping.  This way I was able to tuck my flowers behind some of the letters.

I have started seeing some of your gorgeous projects on Instagram!  Thanks so much for stopping by.
